The Century Boot fits true-to-size in length & width.

Size guide: Order the size you most commonly wear in US-sized sneakers.

Between sizes? Choose the larger size.
• For example: If some of your sneakers are 9 and some are 9.5, order a 9.5 in our boots.

Width: E - All our boots are an E width. This means a little more breathing room than standard shoe width (D).

Wide Foot? Most people with EE width find our boots fit them well if they either (a) go up a half size, (b) replace our standard insole with a thinner insole for more room, or (c) do both.
• You can do the same thing (a) or (b) if you prefer a roomier toe box or like to wear thicker socks. Either way gives you a little more wiggle room around your toes.
• Regardless of the insole you go with, our industry-leading PORON® foam footbed is still at the base of it all to provide premium shock
absorption and quick rebound.

Full sizes: 7 - 13
Half sizes: 7.5 - 11.5

Incredibly comfortable

I have had these boots since December and have worn them nearly every day since. They were comfortable out of the box but as they have broken in it’s just gotten better. The wear and patina on the boot is beautiful, the construction is sturdy, and they are so lightweight (for boots). I have pretty flat feet and often have foot pain—but not in these boots.

Beautiful, tough service boots

These are phenomenal boots at a great price! I am happy to put them on my feet in the morning and enjoy them all day when I wear them.
The leather is smooth and takes a nice brush shine. Seems a high quality, strong leather. It is a bit stiff at first, it took some oiling and a dozen or so wears to feel broken in. I consider this a sign of strong structured leather that is now fit to my foot.
The soles are branded Wilcox but look otherwise like a Dainite sole. I’ve never worn Dainite style soles before. I find them to be stiffer than I like, but they provide good traction in most situations and don’t pick up a lot of mud. I’ve enjoyed that they are easy to clean as I frequently find myself on construction sites.
The fit was spot on sized as my normal athletic shoes. I did find the width, or more precisely the height under the bottom of the tongue to be a bit snug for me. I tried stretching them with thick socks and a bit of water, but not much luck. I removed the standard insole and got enough room for a good fit. Even without the insole I find the comfortable on my feet.
These boots also have a good weight, lighter than most I’m familiar with in similar styles.
Buy a set - I bet you’ll be pleased!

Beautiful boots, amazing price

These boots are value-priced service boots with a Dainite-like rubber sole and solid goodyear welt construction. Wilcox includes features like a full calfskin lining that you would expect on higher-end boots, but for a significantly lower price than many other boot makers. The leather is beautiful and has a smooth, waxy finish that almost feels like a Shell. It breaks in quickly, and hints at a lovely patina that will develop as the lighter leather in the core shows through. I haven’t seen another leather like this, and I love it. These might be the best value service boot you could find. Highly recommended.

Good investment

I just purchased my 5th pair of Wilcox boots. They are well built and stylish. Absolutely solid brand. Thank you!

Great shoes, Customer service needs work.

delivered 11/30, so far fit is good and comfortable, although the leather is stiff, seems they will need a break in period, they seem to be well constructed, time will tell. Satisfied with price and quality. I wear a size 12E normally, these are on the wide side. Overall I'm very satisfied with the boots and would recommend. The issue, and a big one for me, is the support, no phone support, email only. I sent two emails with questions on order status and never received a response. I wonder if I had an issue, would they support and assist. That makes me hesitant to order again, that's why I only gave four stars. Thanks! :-)

very happy, again

this is my second pair of century boots (different color) and i'm just as happy with them as the first. If I could only have one pair of shoes this would probably be it. Fit my foot like a glove, and have been very durable. If you're concerned about the cost, they are leaps and bounds better than anything cheaper, if you're interested in your shoes being well made with good materials, fitting well, and looking good.

Shoe Construction

The heritage constructed Century boot features a 360° Goodyear welt from thick veg-tanned leather. Thanks to a full-grain leather upper & a calfskin liner, the Century boot will stand the test of time.

You'll hand this boot down to your son.

GOODYEAR WELT

The welt is a strip of leather about an inch wide that connects the upper leather to the midsole. Its outer edge cam be seen around the edge of the boot.

This is the tell-tale sign of the highest tier of shoemaking that allows boots to be easily resoled and fully rebuilt, allowing them to last for years to come

FULL-GRAIN UPPERS

This means the leather used on our boots has not been sanded, buffed, or treated in anyway to remove natural imperfections. Sanding or buffing removes the layer of skin below the hair, but this is the strongest and most durable part of the hide - so you don't want to lose it.

This leather shows characteristics of the hide it came from, and only gets better with age.

CALFSKIN LINING

This age of leather is perfect for the inside of the boot. It's buttery smooth but still durable and breathable.

Together with our CloudCush️™ Comfort system, this makes for a snug pair of boots.
