"I prefer the boots over tennis shoes hands down." - Wilcox Wearer
Say goodbye to aching arches, heels and knees. We have no time for long break-in periods, hefty price tags and boots that fall apart in less than a year. We only make boots that:
- are built to last a lifetime
- support your feet
- are fairly price
To see you through the next 10 years of adventures, we use the very best materials (hello full grain leather) and methods to craft every pair of Wilcox boots. More importantly, the support from each pair's CloudCush™️ Comfort system means your feet (and body) will also be up for all the shenanigans.
And there will be many. With the Baker, they mean business. They're sleek service boots up for motorcycling and just as ready for your next dinner date. They go with everything!
Give 'em a go because there are NO RISKS involved with the 100 Day Wilcox Worry-Free Warranty! We'll ship them to you for FREE (in the US) so you can knock 'em about for a few months and if you don't fall in love, then ship them back to us (for FREE) and we will give you a full refund - no questions asked!
BUILT TO LAST A LIFETIME
These are not your average boots. Every pair is built with our 4 layer CloudCush™️ Comfort system on the inside:
Read more about what this means for your feet here.
The top layer is a removable insole so you can easily adapt your pair to fit orthotics, custom insoles, heel lifts or inserts.
The outside of the boots are made of full grain waxed cow leather (the toughest kind of leather to last through the years). The inside is lined with soft buttery calfskin from heel-to-toe.
The Shiloh has a studded natural rubber outsole that can easily be replaced by your local cobbler thanks to each pair's 360° Goodyear Welt construction.
Have the odd mark and scuff on your boots? Don't worry this tells you the leather on your boots is top quality and adds to their character. However, if you want that fresh-out-of-the-box look follow our boot care instructions here.
The Baker Boot fits true-to-size in length and width.
Order the size you most commonly wear in US-sized casual or athletic shoes. If you prefer a roomier toe box, consider going up a half size or replacing the standard insole with a thinner insole to give more wiggle room to your toes.
Between sizes? Choose the larger size. For example: If some of your casual shoes are 9 and some are 9.5, order a 9.5 in our boots.
Width: E - slightly more breathing room than standard width to allow for thicker socks and comfort through the waist of the foot.
Wide Foot? Some people go up a half size to get more width if they need, but that's up to you. You can also swap out the insole for a thinner insole to give even more space.
Height: Heel height - 1⅛"; boot height - 5½"
Whole sizes: 7 to 13
Half sizes: 7 to 11.5
These boots are value-priced service boots with a Dainite-like rubber sole and solid goodyear welt construction. Wilcox includes features like a full calfskin lining that you would expect on higher-end boots, but for a significantly lower price than many other boot makers. The leather is beautiful and has a smooth, waxy finish that almost feels like a Shell. It breaks in quickly, and hints at a lovely patina that will develop as the lighter leather in the core shows through. I haven’t seen another leather like this, and I love it. These might be the best value service boot you could find. Highly recommended.
I’ve only worn them a couple of times. First time they were a little snug, but I’ve got wide feet. Second time much more comfortable. I feel like the more they’re worn the better they feel.
Over the years of buying high quality boots, one thing that has become more and more important is comfort. Comfort has become one of the first considerations when buying a boot, along with quality manufacturing and style. This is hands down the most comfortable boot i own, and I own maybe 30 pairs of boots, from all of the highly regarded makers out there. The construction is clean and the last shape is very appealing, not to slim and not too bulky. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I have only worn them for a couple of months. If they hold up a few years and I still feel the same about them, 5 stars. Who knows, I may even love them more by then.
The Baker is my 2nd pair of Wilcox boots and just like my Shilohs they're fantastic! They look great w dress pants and just as cool paired w my jeans. True to size and the E width is a win-win. Excellent craftsmanship!
i have 4 pair of wilcox ,2 black 2 brown ,the pair i use the most ,have been resoled twice ,as i use them for riding my motorcycles and the wear down faster, but the more you wear these boots the better they get ,the comfort is unsurpassed ,the quality on point ,i have also purchased a pair for my son who loves his also and has spread the word amongst his friends .keep em coming wilcox ,i could always use another pair.
I have 3 pairs of Wilcox boots now, including the Baker. I loved the others so much I bought the Bakers so I could wear them when the occasion is a little dressier. All of my Wilcox boots fit perfectly, broke in comfortably, and they’re tough without being heavy. These things are made as well as some of the shoes I’ve paid 3x as much for. Perfect service, perfect boot.
These boots a lot different than wilcox other boots. They're more of a service boot that goes with anything. I haven't found a day where they didn't work perfect with what I'm wearing. I've been wearing Goodyear welted shoes for decades, and these are every bit as top notch as my Aldens & Allen Edmonds. Yes, I really just said that. The leather is uniquely classic & well suited for anything.
LOVE EM - Beautiful comfortable and seem to be of good quality. Only complain is they are hard to get on and off at first
Gorgeous boots that will last! There's no comparison to the glued together boots that fall apart over time. Well worth the price for the craftsmanship. True to size and the E width. Love these boots!
