They fit great, and I can actually do my walking for exercise in them in between my brakes at work.
Bought these about a year ago, havnt worn them much and started wearing them more this fall. I recently laced them up and the top hook ripped off. The other wilcox boots i have haven’t had this problem in the several years and countless times i laced them up. Been 3 weeks and no contact from customer service.
The boots look beautiful and feel very premium, but my left boot arrived damaged with a huge scuff/wrinkled patch. Customer service responded to my initial inquiry, but has not responded to any of the 6 subsequent emails I've sent over the past 24 days.
I don't typically write reviews, but I am compelled to warn other prospective purchasers that customer service will likely ghost you in the event that anything goes wrong.
I’ve had these boots for about a month. They’re incredibly comfortable. I’m very picky about my shoes and I personally hate buying shoes online, but these felt broken in right out of the box. They have great grip, they look very sharp, go great with casual and dress clothes and get compliments. The only thing I would change is to make the laces a little bit longer so that double tying is a little bit easier. Other than that nit pick they’re perfect. If you’re thinking about buying them, just go for it. You won’t be sorry.
I bought my first pair of Wilcox boots (Fairfax brown) around 2017 at a warehouse sale. If I remember correctly, these were all of the "defective" items that they couldn't sell at full price (I think my boots had a scuff on them when I purchased them). I have got to say that these are easily the most comfortable boots that I own, and they look amazing! I deal with a lot of agricultural businesses for work, and the Fairfax is my go-to when visiting clients. They're rugged enough to handle farms / factories / work sites, and "nice" enough to wear in my meetings with clients and business people. After 7 years, they have held up wonderfully, and I haven't needed to repair them at all! I'm wildly impressed with their build quality and the craftsmanship that was put into developing these boots. These days, it's rare that you see clothing/footwear that is built to last like these have. Plus, I get compliments on them all the time.
After buying my first pair of Wilcox last fall, they were so nice. I decided to save them for casual wear leather stack, teal and wingtip style. We’re just too nice for work I thought. I feel going up 1/2 size from my normal size is the most comfortable.
These KERN boots came in about a week to me in the upper Midwest. I wear them daily as a truck driver to give me support getting in and out of the truck and so my feet don’t swell while driving a day.
