"I prefer the boots over tennis shoes hands down." - Wilcox Wearer
Say goodbye to aching arches, heels and knees. We have no time for long break-in periods, hefty price tags and boots that fall apart in less than a year. We only make boots that:
- are built to last a lifetime
- support your feet & back
- are fairly priced
To see you through the next 10 years of adventures, we use the very best materials (hello full grain leather) and methods to craft every pair of Wilcox boots. More importantly, the support from each pair's CloudCush™️ Comfort system means your feet (and body) will also be up for all the shenanigans.
And there will be many. With the simple & classic lines of the Shiloh, you'll transition from the workshop to a night out with ease. For any day of the week.
Give 'em a go, because there's NO RISKS with the 100 Day Worry-Free Warranty. We'll ship them to you for FREE (in the US) so you can knock 'em around and if you don't fall in love, just ship them back to us (for FREE) and we'll make sure you're squared away with an exchange or store credit!
BUILT TO LAST A LIFETIME
These are not your average boots. Every pair is built with our 4 layer CloudCush™️ Comfort system on the inside:
Read more about what this means for your feet here.
The top layer is a removable insole so you can easily adapt your pair to fit orthotics, custom insoles, heel lifts or inserts.
The outside of the boots are made of full-grain waxed cow leather (the toughest kind of leather to last through the years). The inside is lined with soft buttery calfskin from heel-to-toe.
The Shiloh has a two-part mini-lug natural rubber outsole that can easily be replaced by your local cobbler thanks to each pair's 360° Goodyear Welt construction.
Have the odd mark and scuff on your boots? Don't worry this tells you the leather on your boots is top quality and adds to their character. However, if you want that fresh-out-of-the-box look follow our boot care instructions here.
The Shiloh Boot fits True-to-Size in length & width for most feet.
Size guide: Order the size you most commonly wear in US-sized sneakers.
Between sizes? Choose the larger size.
• For Example: If some of your sneakers are 9 and some are 9.5, order a 9.5 in our boots.
Width: E - All our boots are an E width. This means a little more breathing room than standard shoe width (D).
Wide Foot? Most people with EE width find our boots fit them well if they either (a) go up a half size, (b) replace our standard insole with a thinner insole for more room, or (c) do both.
• You can do the same thing (a) or (b) if you prefer a roomier toe box or like to wear thicker socks. Either way gives you a little more wiggle room around your toes.
• Regardless of the insole you go with, our industry-leading PORON® foam footbed is still at the base of it all to provide premium shock absorption and quick rebound.
Whole sizes: 8 - 15
Half sizes: 8.5 - 11.5
I've had my Shiloh's for about 3 years and they've been possibly the best shoes/boots I've ever owned. They've been amazingly comfortable from day one. And now they're even more comfortable than my tennis shoes. This may be the year I get new treads on them but they have lots of life left in the leather. I may even get a 2nd pair just to have a clean pair to wear as causal dress.
Great boots, well made...but they killed my feet, felt like my feet were burning. Maybe it's the New Mexico desert but I don't know. Started the warranty return, wish they would have worked.
After thousands of motorcycle miles and countless hikes, these boot have held up and are still my go to boot for any adventure.
I had some initial problems with the first pair I bought and let me say the customer service is better than 99% of the companies I have ran across. I got my replacement boots in and am smitten. I won't say they are my new favorite pair of shoes but pretty close. Comfortable as heck. It didn't take but maybe a week to get them broken in to where they didn't kill me to wear all day. That being said I don't like when I'm not wearing them. Looking forward to seeing how they wear in the next few months and years. I couldn't wait to get them out of the box.
I like the boots a lot. They fit really well( size 12) I was worried they wouldn’t be narrow enough but they are just right, I have narrow feet and generally boots are too wide. They took about 4 or 5 seatings to break them in, but are now quite comfortable. Really good looking with casual clothing.I really like the size of the loops at the back to pull the boots on, you can get a finger in them, which I’ve never seen before. Two things I wish were better. 1. The quick loops at the top are sharp and are cutting my laces. 2. I wish the soles were a harder material, I have to have mine resoled, the area under the ball of my foot has worn smooth and the back of the heel is wearing fast. If it was just the lacing issue I’d give them 5, but I’m pretty disappointed in how quickly the sole material has worn out.
I thought looking at the boots they would be a bit too stiff but once worn it didn’t talks long to get used to them. Wore them all day and didn’t not have my feet hurt at the end of the day. Feel bad on the abuse they will get because they are great looking boots.
Sizing little small in width go with wide. Own 3 pairs

How to Style
The simple and classic lines of the Shiloh boot make them perfect to wear right from the shop to a night out. Wear 'em with your favorite jeans and a hoodie to head out camping. Or dress 'em up with khakis and a jacket for a special occasion.
They'll work with whatever you're working with.
Layer 1: Natural cork base layer that creates an imprint of the wearer's foot. The cork slowly forms to your foot over time, and increases the comfort of the pair every wear.
Layer 2: CELTEC® shaped shank that provides stability to the boot, and helps with arch support.
Layer 3: Anti-microbial PORON® foam footbed which makes the boots feel soft right from the first wear and provides premium shock absorption and quick rebound from sunrise to sunset.
Layer 4: Removable OrthoBoost™️ foam insole to provide all-day support and give your feet a soft cradling feel (that would please most podiatrists).
The heritage constructed Shiloh boot features a 360° Goodyear Welt with a two-part natural rubber sole.
The full-grain leather uppers and calfskin lining make the Shiloh boot incredibly durable yet comfortable enough to wear all day.
The welt is a strip of leather about an inch wide that connects the upper leather to the midsole. Its outer edge cam be seen around the edge of the boot.
This is the tell-tale sign of the highest tier of shoemaking that allows boots to be easily resoled and fully rebuilt, allowing them to last for years to come
This means the leather used on our boots has not been sanded, buffed, or treated in anyway to remove natural imperfections. Sanding or buffing removes the layer of skin below the hair, but this is the strongest and most durable part of the hide - so you don't want to lose it.
This leather shows characteristics of the hide it came from, and only gets better with age.
This age of leather is perfect for the inside of the boot. It's buttery smooth but still durable and breathable.
Behind the lining the boots are generously padded on the upper, the quarters, and the tongue. At the back of the boots, there's a generous cushioning all around the collar. Together, this makes for a snug pair of boots.
